Updated: 5 June 2026
Seller and Contact Information
These terms and conditions apply when a customer orders products from the Ursuit Oy online store at www.ursuit.com. Online store contact details:

Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to online sales between Ursuit Oy and consumer customers.
We sell products to private individuals of legal age in Finland and within the EU area. If a customer wishes to order products outside the EU, the customer must contact our customer service before placing the order.
In these terms, a consumer refers to a natural person who makes a purchase mainly for purposes other than their business activities. Separate terms may apply to business customers.
Products and Prices
Product prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. Product prices do not include delivery costs unless otherwise stated in connection with the product or order.
For orders delivered outside the European Union, local authorities in the destination country may impose VAT, customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges in accordance with applicable legislation. The customer is responsible for any such additional costs.
We reserve the right to change prices, delivery costs, and product information.
Ordering and Formation of Contract
Products are primarily ordered through the online store at www.ursuit.com.
The customer adds the desired products to the shopping cart, selects the delivery and payment method, and confirms the order at checkout.
Before confirming the order, the customer will be shown the total order price, products, possible delivery costs, and VAT.
All orders are confirmed by email, which includes the order price, delivery costs, and ordered products. Receiving the order confirmation requires providing an email address when placing the order.
If the customer has not received an order confirmation within 24 hours of placing the order, we kindly ask the customer to contact us by email at info@ursuit.com.
The customer agrees to the delivery terms in force at the time of ordering. A contract is formed when Ursuit Oy has sent the order confirmation to the customer.
Payment Methods and Payment Service Provider
Products and their delivery costs are paid at the time of ordering unless otherwise determined by the selected payment method.
The payment service provider and payment intermediary is Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the payment recipient on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In cases of complaints, we kindly ask customers to first contact Ursuit Oy customer service.

Delivery Methods and Delivery Costs
Delivery costs include shipping and packaging costs. Orders are primarily delivered as parcels, which can be tracked using a tracking code.
Delivery methods in Finland include Posti, Matkahuolto, and pickup from our warehouse. International deliveries are made using the transport companies available at the time.
Available delivery methods and delivery costs are shown to the customer at checkout before the order is confirmed. Delivery costs are determined by factors such as delivery address, delivery method, order weight, and size.
The tracking code for parcel deliveries will be sent to the customer by email by the shipping company once the shipment has been transferred for delivery.
Delivery Time, Delays, and Availability Issues
We ship products on business days. Once payment has been registered, in-stock products are generally shipped within 1–3 business days from the order date.
Delivery times for made-to-measure products, modified products, and special equipment may vary depending on demand and production conditions. We will provide an estimated delivery schedule in connection with the quotation and/or order and update it when necessary.
Stated delivery times are estimates unless the delivery time has been expressly agreed as binding. In the event of a delivery delay, the consumer has rights under Finnish consumer protection legislation.
If an ordered product is unavailable, we will inform the customer as soon as possible. In such cases, the customer is entitled to a refund unless a replacement product or new delivery time is separately agreed.
Right of Withdrawal in Consumer Sales
As a rule, consumers have the right to cancel an online store order within 14 days of receiving the goods. If the order is delivered in several installments, the withdrawal period is calculated from the receipt of the final installment.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify Ursuit Oy clearly and unambiguously before the withdrawal period expires.
The notification can be made, for example, by email to info@ursuit.com. Merely returning the goods or failing to collect the shipment is not considered sufficient notice of cancellation.
Limitations of the Right of Withdrawal
Products made to order, customized, or otherwise modified according to the customer’s individual requirements do not have the right of exchange or return unless the product is defective.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products manufactured or modified according to the customer’s personal needs or measurements in such a way that the product cannot normally be resold after return.
These limitations do not remove the customer’s right to invoke a product defect.
Return Instructions, Return Costs, and Refunds
If the customer wishes to return an ordered product, we kindly ask the customer to contact our customer service at info@ursuit.com. This allows us to provide return instructions and ensure a smooth return process.
Returned products must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after submitting the return notification, unless otherwise agreed with Ursuit Oy.
The right of return applies to products purchased through the www.ursuit.com online store that are unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition, unless otherwise required by consumer protection legislation.
Products may be tried indoors in the same way as they could be tried in a physical store. For example, a drysuit used outdoors or a used diving instrument cannot generally be refunded in full, as the value of the product has decreased due to use.
The customer is responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the product. If the product has become unsellable due to the customer’s actions, the customer may be liable for the full value of the product.
The customer is responsible for direct return costs unless the product is defective or Ursuit Oy has separately stated that it will cover the return costs.
We will refund all payments received from the customer, including the original delivery costs according to the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the cancellation notice.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods.
Refunds are generally made using the same payment method used in the original transaction unless otherwise agreed with the customer. No costs will be charged to the customer for the refund.
If the customer has selected a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us, we are not obliged to refund the additional delivery costs.
Product Inspection
The customer must inspect the delivery as soon as possible after receiving it.
If the package or its contents have been damaged during transport, the customer should file a damage report with the transport company whenever possible immediately upon receipt and contact Ursuit Oy customer service.
Delays in reporting transport damage do not remove the consumer’s statutory rights, but prompt reporting helps clarify the matter with the transport company.
Complaints, Liability for Defects, and Warranty
Products supplied by us generally carry a two-year warranty covering manufacturing and material defects unless otherwise stated. If the warranty period differs from 24 months, this will be stated on the product page or in the information supplied with the product.
Please retain the delivery note, receipt, or other proof of purchase.
In warranty matters and defect situations, the customer should first contact Ursuit Oy customer service at info@ursuit.com or by phone at +358 20 779 8850.
Contacting us promptly speeds up processing, and the customer will receive instructions for further actions.
Our primary obligation is to repair the defective product or replace it with a non-defective product.
Defective products may be sent to the importer, manufacturer, or another expert for evaluation. Warranty or defect investigations may take approximately 2–3 weeks.
In justified warranty or defect cases, the consumer will not incur necessary return, inspection, or repair costs. If no defect is found and the issue is not covered by warranty, possible costs will be agreed with the customer before any chargeable actions are taken.
Unclaimed Shipments
Failure to collect a shipment is not the same as cancelling an order. If the customer fails to collect the shipment, we may charge the customer reasonable costs incurred from the unclaimed shipment.
These costs may include the original delivery cost, return cost, and handling or invoicing fees. The charge for an unclaimed shipment is at least EUR 40 and at most the actual costs incurred.
Special Terms for RESTAC Products
RESTAC products are intended for the buyer’s personal use only. The buyer agrees to inform Ursuit Oy’s sister company, Sioen Ballistics Oy, of any resale of the product. By accepting these terms and ordering RESTAC products, the customer confirms that they understand and accept these special terms.
Additional questions regarding the matter can be directed to Sioen Ballistics Oy: https://sioenballistics.com/contact-us

Copyrights and Online Store Content
All texts, images, product information, trademarks, and other content displayed on our online store are the property of Ursuit Oy or its partners unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of images, texts, or other materials protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights is prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
Ursuit Oy aims to ensure that the content of the online store is as accurate and up to date as possible. If the online store contains price changes, availability changes, typographical errors, or other unintended errors, we reserve the right to correct the information.
If there is an obvious error in the online store regarding, for example, product price, availability, or product information, Ursuit Oy has the right to cancel or reject the order if the customer understood or should have understood that the information was incorrect.
Unless otherwise required by mandatory legislation, Ursuit Oy, its employees, or representatives are not liable for damages arising from the use of this website or from products and services sold through this website. This limitation of liability does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights, the seller’s liability for defects, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited to the detriment of the consumer.
Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions and consumer sales in the Ursuit Oy online store are governed by Finnish law.
In possible problem situations, the customer should first contact Ursuit Oy customer service at info@ursuit.com.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these delivery and contract terms. Customers must familiarize themselves with the terms in force before placing an order.
The terms in force at the time of ordering apply to the order unless otherwise required by mandatory legislation.
